June 4, 2020 – THURSDAY
Actually, this picture was taken back in 2014 in Winter Park, Colorado. One of our favorite places to go skiing with the family. This is my daughter, Jaq, a 13-year old then, and me at the top of the mountain. Honestly, the caption should’ve read:
HOW DO YOU GET DOWN TO THE LODGE FROM HERE? (WITHOUT SKIING?)
No, we always have fun up there. Gorgeous conditions, family-friendly, and the food (and drinks) at the lodge are worth the snowy work-out.
Obviously snow, skiing, and winter sports inspired me to write. Watch for my romance/humor book, Mountains of Dough (I actually used Winter Park as the setting for this book), and my children’s early chapter book, Jaq’s Wacky Dreams – Skiing Down Chocolate Mountains.
